- Pre-category – 9 years and younger
- I. category – 11 years and younger
- II. category – 13 years and younger
- III. category – 15 years and younger
- IV. category – 17 years and younger
- V. category – 19 years and younger
- VI. category – 22 years and younger
- VII. category – 25 years and younger
All obligatory compositions must be carried out by heart.
PRE-CATEGORY, programme duration up to 5 minutes.
Free repertoire within time limit.
I. CATEGORY, programme duration up to 8 minutes.
- one fast movement of a sonata, sonatina or complete variations from the period of classicism,
- one or more compositions by competitors choice from any historical period (except the period of classicism).
II. CATEGORY, programme duration up to 10 minutes.
- one fast movement of a sonata, sonatina or complete variations from the period of classicism,
- one or more compositions by competitors choice from any historical period (except the period of classicism).
III. CATEGORY, programme duration up to 15 minutes.
- one fast movement of a sonata or complete variations from the period of classicism,
- one or more compositions by competitors choice from any historical period (except the period of classicism).
IV. CATEGORY, programme duration up to 20 minutes.
- one fast movement of sonata, sonatine or complete variations from classical period,
- one or more compositions by competitors choice from any historical period (except the period of classicism).
V. CATEGORY, programme duration up to 25 minutes.
- one fast movement of a sonata or complete variations from the period of classicism,
- one or more compositions of your choice from any historical period (except the period of classicism).
VI. CATEGORY, programme duration up to 30 minutes.
- virtuoso etude by F. Chopin (except no. 3 and 6 from op. 10, and no. 2 and 7 from op. 25),
- two or more compositions from two different periods. One sonata movement is also considered, which must be fast and in sonata form.
VII. CATEGORY, programme duration up to 35 minutes.
- virtuoso etude by F. Chopin (except no. 3 and 6 from op. 10, and no. 2 and 7 from op. 25),
- one or two movements of Beethoven’s sonata (fast and slow, in the case of one movement only fast),
- programme by competitors choice from the 19th or 20th century.
