Viktor Kirčenkov (1973) se je rodil in Gadjacu v Ukrajini. Glasbeno izobrazbo je pridobil v Glasbeni šoli Lysenko v Poltavi in na Čajkovski glasbeni akademiji v Kijevu, kjer je diplomiral v razredu profesorja Nikolaja Jurčenka. Leta 1992 je na tekmovanju mladih glasbenikov hornistov Ukrajine osvojil prvo nagrado. Med leti 1994 – 1996 je bil član »Little Orchestra Opera Theatre » v Kijevu, leta 1996 pa je postal solo hornist v kijevski filharmoniji. Leta 1998 je začel igrati v zagrebškem filharmoničnem orkestru. Deloval je kot solist in član komornih skupin. Kot solist je nastopil z zagrebško filharmonijo , Hrvaškim komornim orkestrom ter Komornim orkestrom iz Reke.
Izvajal je številne skladbe hrvaških skladateljev, nekatere skladbe je izvedel premierno. Od leta 2002 je član XL tuba kvarteta in zagrebške filharmonije. Kot učitelj hornist je deloval tudi na osnovni in srednji glasbeni šoli v Karlovcu.
Viktor Kirčenkov (1973) was born in Gadjacu, Ukraine. Music education has been gained in the Lysenko Music School in Poltava and the Tchaikovsky Music Academy in Kiev, where he graduated in the class of Professor Nikolaj Jurčenko. In 1992 he won first prize at the Ukrainian Youth Horn Competition. Since 1994 to 1996 he is a member of the Little Orchestra Opera Theatre in Kiev, and in 1996 he became solo horn player of Kiev Philharmonic. He arrived to Croatia at 1998, in the National Theatre, Rijeka. Since 1999 he is a solo horn of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra. He was a soloist and chamber musician. He has appeared as soloist with the Zagreb Philharmonic, Croatian Chamber Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra of Rijeka.
Considerable interest shown for the works by Croatian composers, and some of them and first performed (V. Gr3⁄4iniæ: Koncertino for Horn and Strings Zajc days 2002nd, P. De1palj: Ceremonial parade). Since 2002 he is a member “XL” Tuba Quartet, Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra. He was engaged in educational work as professor of horn at the middle and elementary music school Karlovac.
