GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND RULES OF THE 7th INTERNATIONAL CELEIA COMPETITION 2026
DISCIPLINE: HORN, ACCORDION, DOUBLE BASS, ZITTER AND CHAMBER GROUPS WITH HARP
1.The competition is open for young musicians of all nationalities and is divided into age categories for the disciplines horn, accordion, double bass, zither and chamber groups with harp. The age category is determined by calendar year (from January 1st until December 31st). Example: Duration of the competition is from 15th until 17th of April 2026, competitor is born on June 5th 2015 – competitor is 11 years old.
Age categories for solo disciplines horn, accordion, double bass and zither:
A younger competitor may compete in a higher age category.

The application fee is non-refundable in case of a candidate’s withdrawal after 15th March 2026.
4. The organizer can limit the maximum number of competitors in which case the order of the applications received will be considered.
5. The programme is performed entirely by heart unless otherwise provided in the propositions.
6. Award and special prizes criteria:
All competitors receive:
In IV. and V. category in disciplines horn, accordion, double bass and zither and in the IInd category of harp chamber groups special prizes will be awarded for the 1st place for the competitors if the competitor receives a gold plaque.
In the III. category of solo disciplines, 1 (one) special award will also be awarded: Solo performance with the Celje School Orchestra in the 2026/2027 school year. The winner will be selected by the organizer.
7. Awards and special prizes will be presented at the end of the competition Celeia 2026.
8. Jury members may not evaluate a competitor whom they teach or are related to.
9. The jury has the right to stop the performance if the candidate exceeds the prescribed time limit.
10. The order of performance of the candidates will be in alphabetical order, Chamber groups in random order.
11. The results of the competition will be announced no later than three hours after the end of the competition in each category.
12. The competition is open to the public. The Organizing Committee of the competition decides on audio, video and photography of the competition.
13. The decisions of the jury are final.
